THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns -- Tuesday April 21, 2009:
I would have you to see.  I would have you to awake out of a slumber. I would have you awake to a place in the spirit realm where I can pour out My anointing upon you that will indeed not only cause you to hear my voice, but to perceive my purposes.  For such is the day and such is the hour of the releasing of this anointing of victory into your life if you can but receive it, by believing it, then you can have it, says the Lord.  I come in the power of My kingdom into your life to set you free from every curse, from every hindrance, from everything that the enemy has established against you that will keep you from moving into the fullness of My kingdom.  And I come in the power of My anointing, the fullness thereof, and release that upon you today to be well, to be blessed, and to become the highly favored of the Most High.  In the power of My word and by the hearing of My word your faith is manifest.  For faith comes by hearing and it works through your heart in the love of the Lord.  For these are the times of new beginnings, the times of new seasons, they are indeed the days of restoration for My people.  They are indeed the days when you shall receive the anointing of the fourth watch.  Come with expectation, come in faith, for faith is the currency of heaven.

I was reminded of the pool of Siloam where the blind man washed and received his sight, and the Lord said: I have called many to be watchmen, yet you cannot see because you lack discernment. You must come to Me to be filled with My Spirit and allow Me to anoint your eyes so that you are no longer blind to spiritual activity. Arise, come in faith and believe that I will open your eyes, and receive your sight by faith, says the Lord.

Hebrews 5:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Watch for an attack of the enemy that will make you feel that you have strayed from My purposes. You may have gone off the beaten path, but the unusual things you are experiencing now will give you the ability see from a different perspective. The more and varied ways you can look at your situation, the better able you are to discern with clarity. Don't be afraid to look, really look, at your circumstances with an eye to make necessary adjustments at this juncture in your life, says the Lord. Trust that your times and seasons are in My hand.

Seek the place of refreshment in My presence, says the Lord. It has been a long siege, and many of you, My people, have become battle weary. The war isn't over, but you need to be revived and renewed. Receive the impartation of anointing that I have for you that will lift you up and carry you. It will bring new life and vigor. So, I say come. Come deliberately. Seek Me earnestly.

If you could but see by way of vision into My purposes that have been established for the end of the age you would rejoice, and again I say you would rejoice. For all of your troubles, all of your heartache, all of your worry, all of your anxiety, all of your trials, would diminish and flow away in the power of the anointing that I shall place upon you. These are indeed the finest days of Zion. These are the days which you, My people, shall have an abiding glory that shall not fade away. Indeed Zion must dwell in the glory that shall permeate the whole land. For it has been purposed from the beginning of time and it shall be revealed and brought into manifestation in this the end of the age. Remember that I have appointed you for such a time as this, and I have called you into My purposes for these days. You are a royal generation and a chosen priesthood, the mighty warriors of the end of the age--even in the likeness of David's mighty men. The men of renown that have gone on before you are waiting to see what you will do with this anointing for war that will bring the victory. This is the hour of the warrior, and the warrior's purpose is to establish My dominion in the land. Begin by establishing My dominion as a warrior in your home, in your personal life, in your place of work, in your church, and the whole of your lives will begin to flow with an exceeding and abundant measure of power as you go step by step with hearts uplifted into the fullness of My Kingdom, says the Lord God Almighty.

You will be astounded at what I am about to do, for it will be an unprecedented work.

COVENANT RENEWED by Bill and Marsha Burns -- Tuesday April 28, 2009:

We are on a distinct prophetic journey marked by the power of grace that will awaken us to a distinct spiritual reality for this season. This time will be charted by defining moments that present choices -- either wise or foolish, led by the Spirit of God or by carnality. We are in the prophetic early-morning, fourth watch of the third day of Christ, the beginning of the third millennium since Christ. We must stay in the flow and life of the Holy Spirit or we will find ourselves in bitterness of soul and spirit. The countdown has begun that will take us to the end, but there is still a long way to go and much to accomplish.

Deuteronomy 29:1 These are the words of the covenant which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, besides the covenant which He made with them in Horeb.

This is our second covenant of blessings. If we choose not to take responsibility to fulfill our part of the covenant by doing what God has given us to do, we will find ourselves in poverty both spiritually and naturally. But, if we reconnect with our God-given covenant, we will be established in a time of blessing. It is necessary that we be found in Zion, the city of God, regardless of what it takes to get there. There the Spirit of God will dominate our spiritual landscape and carry us to kingdom destiny.

The purpose of the enemy is to remove God's people from life and freedom and re-establish old bondages. His tactic is to recapture what he lost. And we say in unison, "Not on our watch!" We can gain great wisdom by reflecting on the ancient pathways and broken covenants that resulted in ruin. However, we are reminded that we, the people of God, are still in the season of the horse, and that we have been given apostolic power for war that will gain us the victory.

We are in perilous times that require the protection of the Lord. Safety is found in re-establishing and maintaining covenant. Even in the midst of danger and poverty all around, we are blessed and prospering. And, we will be given new boundaries that are necessary for our provision and security.

Beloved, I hold your times and seasons in My hand. Do not concern yourself with the tomorrows of your life. Be diligent only to take care of today's concerns through My equipping and empowerment. Let the stress of life be swallowed up by your faith in My ability to bring you through every difficulty. I am with you. You have not been left to your own devices to overcome by the strength of your flesh. Victory will come as you defer to the moving and flow of the Most Holy Spirit, says the Lord. Put your faith in trust in Me.

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Be alert and look alive! The enemy's plan is to bombard you with issues that will tend to overwhelm you. Take care not to overlook the important details of the things that demand your attention. Take time to quiet your mind and emotions in the midst of turmoil and demands, and I will give you peace in the midst of your own private storm, says the Lord. Stand strong in the assurance of My strength and presence.

Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let your heart be still and your mind be clear. There is much to accomplish in this season, and your work needs to be established by raising the standard of purity with clarity of vision and purpose. Refuse to allow the enemy to derail you through distractions. Maintain eternal perspective and righteous focus. This time will produce good fruit if your will rise up in the Spirit, overcome the works of the flesh, and be about your Father's business. The devil is your enemy; go to war against everything that is carnal and ungodly, says the Lord. Victory is assured!

Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns --Monday May 4, 2009:

When you do not feel up to the task remember who you are in Me.  I will give you the grace to meet and overcome every challenge and gain the victory.  Simply trust and obey.

Observe.  Do you see that you have come up?  Your spiritual atmosphere is quite different than it was eight months ago.  Rejoice in the new life and new opportunities that challenge you to spiritual maturity.  The temptation now will be to go back to an old place of easy, lazy comfort.

See beyond the mundane and ordinary routine of every day existence to see the exceptional work that I am performing.  You are a catalyst in a rich and dynamic move of My Spirit.  Look beyond the natural to realize your potential.

You have been in a period of transition, which is not over yet.  It has been and will continue to be very unsettling for a while, but your best use of this time is to grow up spiritually, exercise your faith, and trust that I will bring you through.  Then, your feeling of impotence will give way to My power and dominion.  1 Peter 5:10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

Even when your life appears to be static, in reality you have been on a steep learning curve.  Take a quick glance back to see yourself in this process of exponential spiritual growth.

So, the new plateau isn't what you expected?  Out of your comfort zone?  This level of discomfort will be the impetus that will move you into defining moments that will stabilize you in your kingdom position and destiny.  Do not despise the day of small beginnings.

I am bringing you to a place of stability and maturity by imparting wisdom that will direct your steps and establish your heart in My kingdom.  You will go from strength to strength as you use the victory of past challenges as stepping stones for advancement.

You have entered a time of historic proportions and significance.  What you do with the choices that present themselves to you will yield extraordinary fruit and consequences.  Choose wisely.

I am calling you, My people, to a higher place spiritually where you will see with great clarity and precision. There is a place of righteousness and purity that will bring forth accurate discernment, which is vital in these perilous times. In order for you to come up to this elevated spiritual place, you must learn to quiet your soul and see only by My Spirit, says the Lord. There is a widening chasm between those who have a mixture of soul and spirit in their perceptions and judgment and those who are truly moved by the flow of the river of life. Come up and allow truth to prevail.

1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

I speak to you in spiritual terms, says the Lord: Arise and position yourself on the rampart. Be attentive and set a watch. Look and discern the movements and activity on your watch. This is no time to take your rest or fall asleep. Be still, quiet yourself, and listen. You will need to separate yourself from everything in your natural environment that disturbs you or causes distraction. It is imperative that you be vigilant at this time.

Habakkuk 2:1 I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected.

Rampart is defined as a protective barrier or broad embankment raised as a fortification or place of safety; a wall-like ridge.

Many of you are just trying to get through this time of transition as quickly as you can. You are like a race horse out of the gate and down the track as fast as you can go. Then, when something comes to impede your progress, you think it is a work of the enemy to hinder you. But, the things that you are encountering that slow you down are not necessarily the work of the enemy, but the work of My Spirit to keep you in the flow of My purposes and timing. Now is the time to rein in your flesh and let me direct your every step, says the Lord. Trust Me to get you through this time of change with a sense of dignity and purpose.

We are almost always able to know what we're thinking and how we're feeling, and I was thinking about how adept we are at discerning our own body and soul because we tend to focus our attention there. We seem to know when we're sick or getting sick. And the Lord said, just as you have an awareness of your body and soul, you can also develop that same kind of awareness in the realm of the Spirit. Just as you can discern your thoughts and emotions, you can also shift your focus to spiritual discernment. It is a matter of faith and will. I am calling you to come up to a higher realm of existence and experience in the Spirit, says the Lord.

Proverbs 2:1-5 My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

I saw a threshold in the realm of the spirit, and the Spirit of the Living God said to me: I am bringing My people to the threshold. Oh, you have been here before, but the evil one has hindered you, and your fears have not allowed you to step over the threshold into a full victory, a total victory. Fear has captured you and held you back, and even as you lifted your foot, even as you anticipated the victory and lifted your foot to step over the threshold, the enemy forced you back. Now, you have come to a place where you are not sure if you can cross the threshold, but I say unto you, the door is open, and the doors that I open no man can shut. The doors that I open no devil can shut.  For this reason, I am searching the land over, and I am looking for warriors and looking for those who have a heart of courage. I am looking for those who have a boldness to believe in My word, to believe that which I have spoken forth in this time. Now, I am calling My Calebs and My Joshuas to come forth. For, it is the season in which I call My faithful ones to be conquerors.

You are on the verge of breaking through to a new level of clarity. Is it any wonder that the enemy has brought all manner of circumstances to distract and remove you from My purposes? Refuse to allow anything to interfere with this opportunity to be established in spiritual precision. Fight through and press through the confusion and hindrances that keep you from rising up to receive truth and wisdom, says the Lord.

Beloved, come into the place of My protection, and do not allow the enemy to penetrate your thoughts or emotions with fear and negativity. For, the devil is seeking to find a way to break down and penetrate your place of safety. Build up the walls of your spiritual Jerusalem, your place of peace, and set a watch to perceive the plans of the enemy to reduce your life's circumstances to rubble, says the Lord. Behold, I am with you; I am your very present help in times of trouble.

Even when it seems like your efforts are hindered at every turn, trust that I am moving you in a particular flow. Things may not be moving along as quickly as you would like, but trust that I have everything under control. I know the end from the beginning, and I have your best interests at heart. All you need to do is relax and rest in the assurance that everything will work out in perfect timing and progression according to My plans and purposes for you, says the Lord. My thoughts are higher than your thoughts, and My ways are higher than your ways (Isaiah 55:9).

So, you got your feathers ruffled a little bit? You need to get back to your place of peace and spiritual safety. You do this through forgiveness and humility. Otherwise, your defensive attitude will take you down a road that you will not enjoy, for it will open the door to the enemy of your soul to bring affliction. In these days of unrest and uncertainty it is vital that you stay in a position that will afford great blessings, and these blessings will only come through unity in the Spirit, says the Lord.

Psalm 133:1-3 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessing--life forevermore.

Now is the time to obtain and maintain composure. Rest in Me and stay calm. You are facing situations and circumstances that are unfamiliar to you, yet they possess a common denominator, which is the enemy's tactic to get you off course through distractions. Stay focused, and put your faith in My desire and ability to cause you to be victorious in the midst of adverse conditions. You are well able to stand in the face of difficulties and overcome every obstacle, for I am with you, says the Lord.

Have you heard My word today, says the Lord?  For surely I shall come and confirm it with signs and wonders following.  For I am not like those in the world that make a promise but do not keep it.  I am the Holy One, the Righteous One of Israel and when I speak My word, My word will never return void.  For surely by My Spirit I will fulfill the fullness of that which has been spoken over you, My people.  So take this day and rejoice in it.  Take this day and be glad in it.  Take this day and the sunshine of My love shall fall upon you and lead you in the days that are ahead of you.  For I am coming as the Light of this day to reveal to you the hidden mysteries of those things that will effect you in these days.  Place yourself upon the wall, watchmen of the hour.  Watch and you shall see.  Pray and you shall receive.  For it is written, that if you will ask, you will receive; if you seek you will find; if you will knock I will come and sup with you.  You and I will commune in sweet fellowship and out of that fellowship the glory and the light of this day shall be birthed in the land, says the Lord God.

I saw in a vision a series of portals with light shining through, indicating to me that they were open. And, I heard the Lord say that the windows of heaven are open to a time of great blessings and answered prayer. He said, "Come up here. Rise up in the Spirit and access by faith this great outpouring. Ask and you shall receive. Don't let this unusual opportunity to pass you by."

Beloved, this is a time when you can bring to completion things that have been delayed and to tie up loose ends. But, you will still have to exercise patience in bringing to a conclusion undertakings that involve other people or things that you have no control over. This time will present opportunities to trust Me to do what you cannot accomplish by your own will and power, but I will go before you to make a way, says the Lord.

Release all worry, fear, and everything that keeps you from exercising a strong and resolute faith that I have undertaken on your behalf, says the Lord. Your breakthrough is imminent.

Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, 'Destroy!'

Watch and discern! The enemy has established a spiritual condition that creates stress, condemnation, and demoralization. There have been questions and accusations that have created suspicion that seems like a relentless and diabolical inquisition. The devil wants to rob you of stability and confidence and cause you to question your character and integrity. If you believe his lies, negativity will be exaggerated, and you will lose vision and hope. Refuse to allow him to steal your joy. I have blessed you and gifted you, and it is time for you to take the next step in My plan and purpose for your life. Rise up in faith with thanksgiving that I am you leading forth in perfect precision, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns -- Friday May 22, 2009:

In a dream our ministry was depicted as a school with lots of rooms.  People were coming to see us and demonstrate their prophetic gifting almost like an audition.  But, one by one they would allow flesh to enter in, and they would put on some kind of dramatic performance.  All we could do was just leave the room, shut the door, and walk away.  Then, on the playground there were people who were trying to get attention through their noise and performance.  We weren't on the playground but could see them from a window.  And, there were mechanical animals who responded to movement much like lights that come on with a motion sensor.  When there was movement near them, they looked like they were eating.  I particularly watched a mechanical buffalo and her calf look like they were roaming and eating, but they were only machines; they had no life in them.  The buffalo in early history represented life, but the mechanical buffalo was artificial, an imitation.  They would follow anyone or anything that moved.  This dream is about prophetic ministry being filled with people who are pretending to be prophets and those without discernment following their movements.

  Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest: "Holy Spirit is the experiential name for eternal life working in human beings here and now. The only thing that makes eternal life actual is the entrance of the Holy Spirit by commitment to Jesus Christ. Our beliefs will mock us unless something comes into us from God, because nothing has any power to alter us except the incoming of the life of God. The Holy Spirit is the One who makes experientially real in us what Jesus Christ did for us."

Your foundation in the Kingdom has been swept clean and purified. As I have revealed error and presumption, you have released those things to the fires of purification. Now is the time to build anew, and you will do this by building in righteousness, not allowing anything to alter or pervert the truth. Build according to My plans and purposes and not according to your own desires. Carry out My assignments, and let your construction be according to the pattern that I set before you, for I will surely lead you in this process, says the Lord. I say, arise and build, for this is the beginning of a season of recovery and restoration on all levels.

1 Corinthians 3:9-13 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
