Are you worried about your future? Those who worry do not know how safe they are with Me, so they take matters into their own hands and remove themselves from My protection to do things their own way because they are motivated by fear and not faith. Those who put their faith and trust in Me are not worried because they know Me. They know they are safe with Me. I really am your safe haven, says the Lord. THE TRUMPET by Bill Burns -- Monday February 16, 2009:
In a vision I saw the dance of the apothecary. He was God's perfumer, anointed by the Lord to make anointing oils. He was a little guy, maybe 5' 5" and was wearing a leather apron. He was appointed to make a specific anointing oil for each one. I saw him going to individuals and the Holy Spirit would tell him what each one needed -- one would need spikenard, another would need sweet myrrh, and so on. And, for some it was a mix. The apothecary never stopped dancing, and he would skip off to find the specific ingredients necessary to make the oil. Once he had the oil mixed, he would take it and pour it upon each person's head so that they would receive what they need for this season. He knew from the Holy Spirit the exact anointing that was necessary. The last part of the vision was the oil doing its work individually on body, soul and spirit.

I was in the Spirit, and I heard one resonating sound like an entire orchestra playing one note that vibrated through heaven and earth. I saw us, people of God, moved by this musical sound into complete unity and one accord as though nothing else existed. Then, I saw angels dressed in purple, white and gold, and they were dancing in celebration and with great joy as they encircled us. Then, I heard trumpets and saw more angels, and these were dressed in red and gold. They blew long, golden trumpets--announcing a very important event. Suddenly, we were being elevated and began to rise, and I could see a very bright light, which I knew was the throne of God, but the light was so blinding that I could not see clearly the source of its emanation. But, I heard the voice of Almighty God from His throne. It was a sound like nothing I have ever heard, and I was reminded of Revelation 14:2, "And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder." His voice had created His kingdom on the earth, and He was calling it forth into completion. There was great rejoicing in heaven and an air of excitement and expectation.
Revelation 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this."

Do not think it is a strange thing, My people, that the enemy has been sent against you. Hindering spirits have been sent forth to keep you out of the fullness of that which I am doing at this time. But, remember My words, behold I give unto you authority; I give unto you power over all the works of the enemy. So, when you find the enemy's attack against you, then rise up and use My Word as a sword against him. These are days of war. These are the days of My power when the enemy will be placed under My footstool, and you are those people who shall do that. I say again, do not think it strange that hindering forces have come to steal from you that which has been imparted. Rise up in the anointing, and break the yoke of bondage. Rise up and have victory over infirmity. Rise up and be healed. Rise up and be delivered. Come into the fullness of My Word and into the fullness of My promises. Do not let up and do not look back. The journey is before you; the road to perfection is before you. I shall perfect those things that concern you, says the Lord.

SPIRITUAL STORMS by Bill and Marsha Burns --Monday February 23, 2009:

The Lord has spoken to us and given us direction so that we know mentally where we are going, and we have times of spiritual exhilaration, but those times are quickly engulfed and extinguished by the storms. The storms of life have often obliterated our spiritual visibility. It's hard to see where we are, let alone have any vision for what's ahead. As a people, we are tired and battle weary.

There seems to be no end to the onslaught - spiritual attacks against God's people in health, relationships, work, and finances. The difficulties of this present time have caused a subtle, but deep-seated discontentment and insecurity. And, this discontentment, which is all storm-related, has opened the door to a seducing spirit that prods us to find contentment in our flesh through fantasy and trying to find ways to escape the trouble.

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Thanksgiving will accelerate the spiritual process that will get us to a place of stability and of believing God for His direction and leading. We have to cooperate with the flow of the Holy Spirit as He re-establishes divine order in our lives, and the Lord said that our sense of contentment will be restored by making a decision to be content and by putting things in perspective through our faith.

Philippians 4:12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

1 Timothy 6:6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain.

2 Peter 1:2-8 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. In a vision I saw myself walking down a long corridor, it could have been a tunnel. Either way I could see a light ahead of me. I knew that as I walked along this narrow corridor that my walk was representative of that of the Body of Christ. As I progressed, I kept encountering what I would describe as misty veils that obliterated the light. I realized that these veils were as a result of activated flesh, and as soon as I recognized the specific work of the flesh the hindrance was pushed aside and the way was open again. This was because when we are in agreement with the work of the Holy Spirit of God and our hearts are set on pilgrimage or the way of the Lord, when we recognize sin or weakness or a lack of faith, we are in immediate disagreement with the work of the flesh, which equates to repentance and our freedom.

Psalms 84:5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.

Arise in the Spirit and shake off the fear and all that binds you, says the Lord.

I am raising up a people who will turn their gaze from one another to seek My face, a people with single focus and divine purpose who will bring edification to the whole body through unity. This process will reveal and separate flesh from spirit and quicken your discernment. Every facet of life and ministry is for the purpose of gathering a people who will love Me whole heartedly and love one another. Everything that is not consistent with that purpose will be exposed for what it is. Motivations of the heart are being purified. Take the next step and come higher. Step into spiritual maturity and put away childish things.

I tell you today that you are My anointed. You are anointed to war against the enemy and to have victory over all of his works. I kept hearing the word "facilitate," which means to make easier or help bring about. The Lord said that He is going to lead us in ways that will both simplify our natural lives and deepen our spiritual lives, which will facilitate our destiny in the Kingdom. I took this to mean that we will strive less to perform according to our own expectations and be carried more by the Spirit to accomplish His purposes. Adjustments will be made, by His leading, and the details of our life circumstances and situations will be supernaturally tweaked as a means of a correction so that we will stay on course. I thought of the analogy of an airplane, which is one degree off course beginning with the point of departure, will be increasingly off course the farther it travels on its way to its destination. It is the grace of God to bring correction to keep us on track.

Hebrews 12:5-6 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; for whom the LORD loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives.

I am calling forth a people who will walk in integrity, who will raise up a standard of righteousness and stand by it, says the Lord. Those who are willing to stand against all that undermines truth, faith, and spiritual complacency will become a great and powerful army, mighty warriors ready to cut down the enemy where they find him. They will effect a great and resounding victory that will bring honor to the King.

The Lord showed me that many are feeling out of pocket, out of bounds, or out of the comfort zone. And He said, "You are in a new and unfamiliar spiritual environment, and you have no clarity about it at this time. However, you need to stay mid-stream, that is in the middle of the flow of My Spirit. Refrain from any kind of presumption. Even though you are antsy, don't force anything. Be still and be silent until I speak or move you ahead. You have not been this way before, and it will be very unsettling." Then, I had a vision of a page in a pop-up book that was folded down, and when it unfolded it was a picture of a landscape. And, the Lord said, "This new spiritual landscape will unfold shortly and at the proper time. Then, revelation will come with precision and clarity. Be patient."

I will give you discernment to know the limits of your involvement, but you must choose to stay within the confines and safety of your own boundaries.

This day, says the Lord, I come to restore you and to remove all reproach. I come not only to restore, but to inspire. You are designed for greater things than you have the ability to see. My gifting in you and My power and anointing on you will perfect you and will cause you to come to the elevated place that I have prepared for you. Lay aside the oppression and come with great joy. My kingdom is a kingdom of joy, for in the Spirit of the Living Lord there is joy, liberty, peace and power. The anointing will be poured out upon you so that you will not only be restored, but you will be strengthened beyond what you have ever known. These are days of My glory on the Elijah company, those who will be used to cause a full restoration that will impact My Church. Forget all things that are behind you, and move forward without hesitation.

The devil is doing his best to try to make you responsible for his foul play. He is the accuser and is set on bringing serious accusation against you that will make you feel condemned. This is an attack that will bring up the past and seduce you into taking the blame for others' actions. If you succumb to this seduction, it will take you out of the flow of the Spirit and will dump you down into the flesh. Resist, says the Lord!

James 4:7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns -- Tuesday March 10, 2009

In the spirit realm I heard one woman begin to sniffle and then cry as she was overcome with grief. Then, I heard others weeping with her until there was a great company of mourners. It was very sad, but suddenly there was a change in the spiritual atmosphere, perhaps an elevation and a quickening of faith. The sound of the multitude was not silenced, but the sound changed and took on the tone of joy. And, it became a very great rejoicing. I believe this company represents the Body of Christ in travail.

Romans 8:18-23 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

Beloved, old issues that have been out of sight and out of mind are coming up for review. Dealing with these things will not necessarily be comfortable or fun, but it can be profitable if you will rise above emotionally charged memories to a higher perspective to look through eyes of the Spirit instead of looking through eyes of the flesh. This is a time when you come to a great and lasting resolution once and for all, says the Lord.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns -- Thursday March 12, 2009:

In a dream it was winter with high snow banks and out of the snowy, white background emerged a beautiful white colt and it was carrying a small sword by the handle in its mouth. I had seen him some months before and was so happy to see him again, and he was overjoyed at seeing me. He reared up like he was going to try to hug me, and I thought his strength might hurt me, but it didn't. He didn't speak words to me, but we understood each other. The horse and I went to the river where there was a patch of green grass, and he put his sword down and ate. Then we went to visit a friend of mine and she tethered him to her camping trailer. He easily broke the bond, but didn't run away. He stayed with us because he wanted to.

Interpretation: There are other symbols in the dream, but these are the basics: the white represents righteousness, the white horse symbolizes the power of righteous warfare using the sword, or the Word of God. There is great joy in warfare that overcomes the enemy. The river and green grass represent the nourishment and rejuvenation of the flow of the Holy Spirit. We cannot harness or tether this power for ourselves. The power for warfare is a gift freely given to us.

I kept hearing the word "efficiency" in my spirit. The definition of efficient is: productive without waste. And, I was reminded of a word from the Lord telling us that this season will require integrity and stewardship. Then, I heard the Lord say that He is bringing us into a time when we will begin to see areas in our lives where we are wasting time, effort, energy, and money. And, He will show us how to be efficient stewards of what we have been given and what we have been given to do.

Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

Understand that I am giving gifts to you, My Bride, before I come to take you to the wedding feast. Position yourselves to receive that which I am doing in this season. As the season progresses you will be strengthened and become more glorious than you ever have been before if you cooperate with Me. But, if not, you will become like the foolish virgins, and you do not want that to happen! Let Me become your guiding light, for surely I will bring you out of all darkness and bring you forth into the glory of My kingdom. It is my purpose to cause you to be Zion, that city of light that is set upon a hill that the whole world cannot only see, but can come to. Your anointing will draw others into My kingdom. My fire and anointing will produce an undeniable light that will draw sinners and the backslidden into the fullness of My purposes, says the Lord. Be wise now.

In a vision I saw many of us entering through a door into a long and narrow room, and for lack of a better term, I call it the Spirit chamber. At the end of the room was an opening in the ceiling like an open window that led us into the presence of the Lord. When we got under this opening we were propelled upward into the place where we can receive revelation from the Lord as well as wisdom, words of knowledge, discernment, healing, visions, etc. Then, we would return to the Spirit chamber with whatever we had received. There was now a long dining table with people seated and waiting to be fed. But, it wasn't natural food they were waiting for. They were waiting for spiritual nourishment -- to hear what we had received from the Lord.

Then, I was aware that outside of this place there were many, many Christians who were not even aware of the Spirit chamber or the ministry of the Holy Spirit. They didn't know they could come in. Those inside the Spirit chamber seated at the table were those who were hungry for more of the Spirit, but did not yet know how to go through the window to receive for themselves. In the vision they were called "sitters." Those who had been in the presence of the Lord were called "seekers." And, when they returned to the Spirit chamber they became "servers" because they brought back spiritual substance to feed the people.

As the vision progressed, there were sitters who finally ventured forth to be seekers as they also positioned themselves under the window and were propelled into the presence of the Lord. And, there were others from outside that had found the door to the Spirit chamber and became new sitters. So, there was constant activity with an increase of sitters, seekers, and servers.

We all begin outside the Spirit chamber, and if we have desire to know the Lord, we will find the door and become sitters until we move on to become seekers and servers.
