I do too. They have been struggling for a long time. The music ministry is struggling also. I just ask God to continue to encourage me and I start looking to the bigger picture, that its just temporary.

Caisza its sooo funny b/c the first church I play for is normally sooooooo dead. Dead to the point of I am thinking about leaving, but Sunday it was just awesome in that place.
Maybe that's what it took to change your mind to stay. (God works in mysterious ways don't He?)HE SURE DOES WORK IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS......BUT KEEP IN MIND BIG BRO, EVEN IF U THINK ABOUT LEAVING FROM WHERE YOU ARE.....IT JUS' MIGHT BE EVEN WORSE IN THE NEXT PLACE.... |

Yeah bro, u know that's how they are. I was a manager at Dairy Queen for 5yrs....I did it all, the schedule, ordered the inventory, checked in the inventory, assisted in hiring, fired, cooked, cleaned, broke down icecream machines, misty machines, milkshake machines, did daily bank deposists.....u name it, I did it.. Well, the owner decided to bring in another manager, so there would be night/day mgrs(so the owner would not have to work), just sign paychecks.... this new mgr, did nothing as close to all that I did. Guess what, I was issuing out checks one day and discovered this white mgr came in making more than me......DID I CUT UP? OH I SHOWED OUT. So that next week when checks came out, my check was da same, and I refused my check. How about that owner told me that she forgot, tore the check in half, and printed me out another check...as she handed it to me she sd...."Now you know you have to do more work now don't you?" I had no comment, because I would have hurt someone's feelings! I took my check and walked out the office.My mom hated that I worked there b/c I always worked beyond my shift, and worked 14dys straight w/no days off! Im surpised you walked away from that!  |
