I just don't have the stomach for it.  In the army, I took a few medical correspondance courses.
(But that was several years ago)

Your stomach, eyes and ears will soon get immune to certain things. Ex. If you threw up and I saw or heard you, I'd throw up too.  . But after working at the nursing home....(old folks throw up more than newborns  ) I could actually hold the bucket, hold there hair back or help clean them up. Mind you I never cleaned the vomit up, but I could freshen up the pts.

Aint it tho! Just like they say there will always be criminals there will be the sick as well. I truly believe that this part of Gods plan for me to go back to school. so Im do it! I think Imenjoy it i like paperwork. Im praying for the finances to go.

Things are going very well..Im just taking it one day at a time, Im very surprise at how that helps me remain calm.  Still searching for a job & Im considering doing some work from home..if I can something.

Just about. I want to pull the carpet up in the hallway. I have some new pictures from Home Interior that I bought for the bedrooms, I didn't know they were that heavy. (I need some help w/ those (Chuck isn't any)his ok I'll get it never happens ) But I'm almost done!!

Did you ever think about Blue Cross/ Blue Shield? They hire insurance adjusters to work from home to do insurance claims, the training course isn't that long and they supply you with their computer and they also wire your house with a separate phone line so it won't interfere with your home phone. Quite a bit of insurance companies do this, look into it.

Dont give up hope...Chuck just might surprise you.  Cam sounds like you gotta alot of work ahead, if you pull up the carpet in the hallway. Is it hardwood floors under there, or do you plan on putting down new carpet?

I never though about Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I am going to look at their website and see if they have any openings.

Hey Family..has anyone ever heard of a company named Transam Associates. They do medical transcription from home. Well I have been chatting with them and they want to hire me, but they also want me to buy their software for my PC..the software is $500. Let me know if you heard of this and or your thoughs about having to purchase their software.

If they want to HIRE you, why do you have to Purchase their software. That should be apart of their hiring process. That doesn't sound to kosher, look into it and find someone who is actually working for them (don't go by an employee quote on the site) . Blue Cross/Blue Shield supply their software and computer once your hired.

Thats how I feel...plus..I dont have $500 to buy any computer software. I even asked them, if I could purchase it from a current employee or off of Ebay...they were like nope you have to buy it from us and the the program is download and license to only me.  Yea ok...Im really not that slow..

and I can think of 500 other things to spend that money on...like winter jackets...todays high is 60. We gonna have snow real soon.  I digress!! LOLMBO

Today Im going to apply for a couple positions at my daughter school and within the district...that would be nice....then I could work while she is at school and be off when she is off. I have done subsitute teaching before...I just need to get my certification update..its only $50 for four years.

Update on my job situation....Looks like Im a be substitute teacher. There is such a great need for teachers. When I went in to apply this afternoon she gave me this package of information, stating that I can be certified with in one year...of course Im going to check into this!!! Perfect hours and ok pay.

Down here they give you a 3 day class, usually from 8-3. Then yoou fill out a bunch of paper work. Meet with Principals and couselors and that's it. Your a certified Sub.

In Illinois you have to apply for a substitue license and you have to have a Bachelors..in anything...then you have to get fingerprinted, TB tested, Physical....ummm lengthy online app...

But the hours are perfect...I gotta get in my daughters district...but I wanna work in the distrct I grew up in.

I WORK IN THE SCHOOL SYSTEM WHERE I LIVE, MY MOTHER TAUGHT SCHOOL FOR 30 YEARS AT HE SCHOOL I WORK AT , I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IF YOU HAVE WENT TO COLLEGE AND FINISH IN ANOTHER FIELD YOU CAN STILL TEACH.  IT IS CALLED THE ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.  WE HAVE TEACHERS THAT IS ON EMERGENCY LICENSE FOR 3 YEARS.  THEY GIVE A PERSON THAT LONG TO PASS THE TEST TO TEACH.  WE ALSO HAVE TEACHER ASSISTANT THAT IS WORK THRU  A GROUP CALLED AMERICIA READS.  THIS WILL GIVE THEM MONEY TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL.  THE ONLY THING THEY HAVE TO DO IS VOLUNTEER SO MANY HOURS AND DO COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT.  i HAVE 3 YEARS OF COLLEGE FROM JACKSON STATE AND IS TO LAZY TO GO BACK AND FINISH,  PRAY THAT GOD GIVE ME THE NERVES  TO GO BACK.
