Let's take some time today to reflect, remember and pray for those who lost family, friends and loved ones 5 years ago today.  Let's also remember to pray for our leaders, whether we may agree with them or not.

Do you remember where you were on September 11, 2001 when you first heard about the attacks? Did you lose someone that day? Feel free to share your stories. As for me, I was at work when one of my co-workers said she heard a report on the radio that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. We all rushed to the conference room and turned on the tv. Everyone was trying to figure out how it could have happened- when suddenly we were all quiet in a stunned silence as we watched the second plane crash into the World Trade Center. By 11am, we were told to go home because no one knew what was happening and people were starting to panic as word came in about the plane crashing into the Pentagon.

 Cry

Wow, that was so heart wrenching watching that on tv.  I was at work when someone told us about it.  We turned on the tv and sure enough, the 2nd airplane was slamming into one of the towers.  We were stunned and in disbelief as to what happened.

Yes indeed, my prayers definitely go out to all that were affected by this tragedy.  However, I choose not to watch anything about this tragedy on tv because it is so painful.

That I am aware of, I didn't know anyone that was killed in that terrorist act. But then and again, you never know.
