Why is it that when I answer the telephone at work and say who I am, the person on the other end asks "who am I speaking with"?

Why is it that if you are late paying on a bill and the bill collector calls you, he/she talks to you w/ an attitude as though they need your particular payment to go buy themselves groceries or something!

Why is Geico insurance using the Cabbage Patch Kid, Jethro from "The Beverly Hillbillies," and the Flinstones in their commercial to promote their insurance? They know that they weren't even around at that time. I'm guessing they don't have as many customers as they would like.

Why is it that when certain grocery stores put certain items on sale they put a limit on how many you can purchase, and if you go over that limit, you won't get those items over for that sale price...money is money right? It shouldn't matter how many you buy.
