will help win them. If you always act nice to a grumpy person, that person will soon
start acting nice to you, because they won't have no other choice.
So it's best to act nice to everybody, and not ugly!

Lord, I didn't know my my opportunity would come so soon.

We all I'm sure work with someone who is always complaining about what is happening at work.   This morning I went to the cafeteria to get milk for my cereal, over the hoilday the custodians waxed the floors.   A co-worker and I  walked in together.
 ME: Good Morning"   
 CW. Whats good about it Ms Sunshine
 ME:   I said girlfriend you are alive and walking in this building, some where some one did not wake up this morning. 
CW: I heard it all before
ME: Let me ask you a question, are your parents still alive?
CW: yes ,why
ME:  Thats your blessing  and what you have to be thankful for, I've burried my parents and a child but I can still smile because the God I serve is good.

She walked away with out replying,   When I got to my car after work I found a note that said thank you Ms Toni,  I said thank you God.

Oh yes God is good.

I thought my opportunity would be with a particular person but it came in the form of a family member.  I was so angry that I could have.......  Well anyway, by the conviction of the Holy Ghost, this family member called me this afternoon and all that I could think of was the scripture of overcoming evil with good.  All that I could do was show them love to the fullest extent.  I know they were suprised that the answer that I gave them was unbelieveable and I went ahead and did what I told them that I would do.  There was no more anger on my part either.

What I did was love in action.  We must remember that love is not just a feeling but an action.

I think at some point in our lives we have all been that angry, but I thank God, for the change he has made in each of us. When I think of how I reacted to some situations in my life, and I how react since God made a change in my life all I can say is  HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!

I had a horrible, terrible font fight on the internet....Today 9/7/07, it was between me and a young lady I have meet and know via internet 2 plus years....there was plenty of bad blood between us...and words were flying everywhere....the finally straw was when she put my very close relatives name on a message...I talking about frist and middle name... Ok....

I had to take a break because while all this is going on, on the internet,Im at work. 
Lord had to send help and he did, but it require for me not to respond anymore which I did not want to do..but i did.

I showed specail love by being humble and learning that I dont have to prove who or what I am to anyone. I learned that all things involved in my life are for a purpose and when I am faced with a tough decision of what to do next, I can trust the God will lead me the right way.    -Tears of Joy....Also I allow the young lady to feel happy I guess at the outcome.

You did the right thing by showing love, humbling yourself, and trusting God to lead you right. Showing love gets them every time. 

I remember visiting this church and the preacher was talking about love.  He told us of an incident at work with a co-worker who hated him and gave him a hard time.  He then told us how he loved the "hell" out of that person.  I was too tickled. lol

I'm sorry, I made a mistake, I changed it this weekend but I meant for Newbie to be between 1 post and 150 posts and Active Member to be between 150 posts- 250, etc.. but I see I did it all wrong... see that's what I get for trying to do math while I have a migraine. I will take another look at it this evening or tomorrow and get it fixed! Sorry again! Thank y'all for being patient with me!

Wow that is a beautiful testimony of how no matter what, God can touch your heart and give you a new mindset!

That is beautiful and I completely understand what you mean, I've struggled with this for quite a while with someone who never had anything nice to say about me and I would get so defensive all the time when finally I realized (with help from my AllGospelLyrics family) that I shouldn't let that bother me because my works and fruits speak for me.  Somebody will probably always have something negative to say, but thankfully God knows and sees all and ultimately that's really all that matters.
