Hello everyone!! This prayer warrior2007 again!!!

I have a new topic

Name the one of the best sermons that you have heard.  Name the topic and also quote the scripture that hee or she taught from;

I have so many but one of my special one was called: HE'S MY DADDY TOO!!  This pastor came for the book of Psalms 68: 4-5.

He preached this on Father's Day.  He stated that Jehovah god is our father.   And he said that If someone do you wrong, you say I am going to tell my daddy on you!  Which is god!! I love this sermon.  So if you have a favorite sermon that was preach to you and it stuck to yoiu like those grits that the young lady threw on the guy on Madea Family Reunion.   Cheesy Cheesy  post it here.  I would like to know.

I might have to post several times on this one because I have so many but for now the one that first stood out for me was when Juanita Bynum did the No More Sheets. It was so pertinent to me at the time because I was struggling with being a new babe in Christ and I was newly single after being in a 5 year relationship. I think it's a great sermon for all Christian singles, especially women. Some exerpts:

Yes, I am Prophetess Juanita Bynum, but I am not dead. I know you think that you cannot be anointed and still have a desire to sleep with someone. Some think that because I am anointed I never get frustrated. They think I never want to have some serious sex. They think I don't ever want to do something wrong, but let me tell you that the devil is a liar.
Every single day I struggle to crucify my flesh, and if you tell the truth, you would say the same thing. I know what it feels like to go to the mall or the laundromat and see fine men everywhere and ain't none of them your husband. Sometimes I wish I wasn't a prophetess. There's been times I wish I could give a man my pager number or my office phone number. No one has to know, but I can't get away with it. Because I've come too far to turn back now!

You control how a man treats you! Before you make the decision to begin embracing your new life style, I'm going to list a few do's and don'ts--for your dating pleasure.

Do's

1. If someone you have a strong attraction for, or vice versa, invites you to an evening event, make it a group thing.

2. Allow him to pursue you. Remember a real man will.

3. Always keep your first seven dates filled with educational and cultural things. It helps to stimulate the intellect and not the sex drive.

My Pastor preach this one a few months ago.  If you have Jesus, used what you got.  I can't remember exactly where he came from now, but it was a powerful sermon.

Sunday, the pastor at 1 of my services preached a sermon call "A Fixed Fight".  It was really good.  He opened the sermon talking about how he was watching the Tyson and Buster Douglas fight when Tyson lost the Heavy weight championship.  He just knew that was a fixed fight b/c there was no way Douglas could have beat Tyson, but then he brought it home talking about the fight we are in. That God fixed this fight for us to have the victory.  Can the church say AMEN!!!!!

Hatred in the Ministry

One Sunday my pastor preached on Hatred in the Ministry.  OMG, this was an awesome sermon.  He talked about the reason for the hatres is because you took your eyes off of God. He stated an unforgiving servant wil end up in a prison.  Basically you will be an inmate to whatever it is you are holding on to. That is why it is good to forgive those that did you wrong. He stated the longer you walk in Gods grace the strong the scent will be.  The scent of righteousness.
