You are so right! I have so much stuff I'd like to post but I haven't been able to spend as much time on the sites lately. I like posting devotions, bible study lessons, words of inspiration and just plain praising the Lord no matter what. I will definitely make an extra effort to always make at least one inspirational post each day.

thanks caisza, on friday my church went to Fresno fro a Youth Rally and the Spirit of God was in that place, but the bad thing about it was that the church is a Apostolic Church and i felt as if i was in a Baptist Church, the girls had on fake hair, toes out, jewlery, i mean they looked like some Jezebels all the way. the preacher that spoke was on fire for the lord, he brought confirmation to a few peaple in my church. You should have been there. Then on Saturday we went to Stocton California, where we didn't stop praising God. So it was like having a double dose of the Holyghost Power. and the food was great.

ambree, I pray that you will hear me with an open heart,
I was saved in an Apostlic, pentecostal church so I understand you a bit, however I have to point out for those that may read this, that a person wearing fake hair, toes out, jewlery, etc., is not any more or any less worthy in God's eyes than someone who doesn't. I know from being a member that outward apperances are important in some apostolic churchs (no make up, no pants for women, no jewlery, etc.), however it's so very important that we also remember that a particular way of dressing is not a prerequisite for salvation, nor is it a guage to determine whether or not a person is saved or spirit filled (but it can be an outward expression of our beliefs). When you are saved, and you want to be pleasing to God, you know what's acceptable and what's not. And because we have the awesome blessing of being in a personal relationship with Jesus, what's acceptable and what's not acceptable may vary from person to person, according to the needs of that person. For example, before I was saved, I had a problem with excessive drinking, so now I personally don't drink alcohol, yet I do not condem someone that does because for them drinking may not be a problem.
I hope I don't come off as sounding mean about this, it's just that I am very passionate about this subject. I have seen too many people turned off and away from Christianity because they feel as though they won't be accepted by judgemental Christians more concerned with what a person is wearing and that makes me very sad. I don't know for sure, but I am guessing that God is more concerned with our hearts and belief in Jesus as the Son of God, than he is about whether or not we are wearing jewelry.
There are many denominations that all work together in the Body of Christ- baptist, apostolic, methodist, etc, we must remember to continue to build one another up and careful not to tear each other down. Let's use our light to draw people to want to get to know the love of Christ within us, not push them away with distain and judgement.

As a Christian, I don't wear pants. I haven't worn pants in umpteen years. I don't even own pants, neither do I wear earrings, or necklaces. My pastor teaches that at our church. Now to some people, they may feel like nothing is wrong with wearing pants. However, I have to obey the pastor because the Word of God tells us to obey them that have the rule over us because they watches for our soul.
Now I don't condem no one else. When my pastor first started teaching the females not to wear pants, it wasn't in my heart at all. Yes, I was being disobedient but at the same time, it wasn't in my heart. Once it got in my heart, I felt no problem doing it. I don't regret it either. We have to remember as Christians, everyone is not on the same level in Christ as others. Some people don't even know the Truth.
Like some people say, come to church as you are. Now that is a good point. However, when you come as you are, you will not stay as you are when you come into a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
I was born and raised apostolic. I have fellowshipped many times with Lutherans, Baptists, COGIC, and Catholics. I had a good time at their churches. I don't have any bad thing to say about any other denomination. You would be suprised at some of the Apostolic Churches that are out of the will of God. I remember going to a Baptist Church and was blown away when I found out that it was a Baptist Church and not Apostolic. We have a Baptist Church right around the corner from where I live. I use to go to their bible class on days that I wasn't busy, the pastor teaches the apostolic doctrine. I will not condem no other denomination. The Word says
One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism
.
I had a conversation with a few of my co-workers the other day. They were upset because of what I believed. I told them that I don't believe what I believe only because my pastor said it, I believe it because God said it and I can back it up with the Word. I then had to get out of the conversation because they were highly upset. God's Word don't change for anyone.
Remember, everyone that goes to church is not saved. Everyone that shouts, sings, prays. preaches, etc. is not saved. However, we still have to let our light shine no matter what.
At our church, we have some people who wear their toes out. We just have to pray for those. I pray every day for myself that I don't fall out of the will of God. Being saved is a tough battle.
I love to praise the Lord. Once at our church, we had a young lady who felt that if you didn't shout, you didn't know how to praise the Lord. She had to understand that everyone don't praise the Lord in the same manner. I am a musician I won't hesitate to praise the Lord on the keyboard. It has been times that I have jumped up from the keyboard and shouted all through the church.
I am happy that you had a Holy Ghost shouting good time.
I probably would on been on so much fire for the Lord that I probably would have burnt up!!

Goooooooooooooooood words, i'm sorry if i came to harsh about those things forgive me, but i'm not just going to go up to someone and tell them that there are going to go to hell just because they have all that and some more on i'm just gooing to try to help them, pray for them, and try to go over what the bible says is right. If you want to be obediant to have to follow dthe whole bible. I know that God doesn't care about the outward appearence he judges the heart, and we as saints have to do that to. I still have some thiings that i half to learn, i'm still a babe in christ, i only been saved for 7 months now and i thank the lord for that. But i'm not ashame to tell anyone that they need the holyghost and that they must be baptized in Jesus Name in order to get to Heaven. But if i do say something wrong, would yall please tell me and just help me out a little bit, i would appreciate that.
Let everything that have breath praise the Lord.................

I think we are all growing in Christ each and every day. I have been saved for almost 10 years and there's still a LOT even I don't know but I am open to learning and grateful to God for humbling me and placing me in the midst of people that can continuously help me grow and vice versa. We are all in this together to help encourage, teach and motivate each other. I am so glad you are staying around! And the same goes for me, if I do or say something wrong, please help me out also.

I don't have any major plans for summer, other than trying to stay cool indoors as much as possible. My husband and I might try to squeeze in a little mini vacation during that time.

I plan on going to my hometown the MotorCity (Detroit) for about 2 weeks to visit my family (mom, dad, sister, nieces, and nephews).
I also look forward to going to my father's church. I enjoy each service every time I go.
