BEING SAVED!

NOONE TOLD ME THAT BEING SAVED WAS SO HARD. PEOPLE TRY US. AND THEN IT IS SO HARD TO FIND SAVED FRIENDS.

Part of being saved means having a personal relationship with Jesus, believing in your heart that Jesus is the son of God and that He died for our sins, it means we are forgiven- but one important thing to remember is that we are not perfect. Saved people mess up and make mistakes too, the only difference is that we have a loving, merciful God who brings forth new mercies each and every day. We fall, we ask for forgiveness and guidance, we get get back up. No, it's not a free pass to knowingly do wrong, it's actually all the more reason to want to do right and be pleasing in God's sight.  I understand what you mean about having a hard time finding saved friends, I went through the same thing when I was first saved, but another thing you have to remember is that God has a plan, perhaps He placed you in the midst of people who don't know the Lord so that you can be a light for Him.  When people ask you about the source of your joy and the source of your peace, you can tell them about Jesus. 

Pray and ask God for direction, He will never lead you wrong. Be blessed!

If you are truely living for God he will send saved friends your way trust me cuz he did it for me.....and as far as ppl talking about you ....my word of advice to you is to pray even harder....the way I see it ..they talked about Jesus...even spit on him so who am I not to receive the same or worse....be encouraged....

Well I appreciate all the responses to this because I know how important it is to surround yourself with positive saved people. Well my issue is not really as bad as it sounds because God has got me to where I can just kep going despite the condition. I had been a little depressed about my job situation and it seemed like I was losing focus on how wonderful I really am. God saved me for one and I love people, I love the lord, I work in my church faithfully, I teach Sunday School, I am 2 choirs as Church. I love Children, I am very professional and nice to people.......but it seems with all that being said my spirit is still so sad....I pray, I sing,,, I give God all the praise and I know my breakthrough is going come. So I do know that saved people have the same battles as everyone else however we do have one thing going for us we continue to trust in God and when we do that it seems that even threw my storm he shows me .....My miracle is on the way.  I think having someone that is saved as a friends you can atleast talk it out and not keep it all bald in. Well ...,.,.,.,.,. God it my strentgh and my redeemer.

The Word of God tells us that we are going to persecuted for His namesake. 

If you are not being persecuted for His namesake, then something is wrong.

   Being saved to me is being filled with holyghost and speaking in toungues as the spirit of GOD gives you utterance, just like the bible says in Acts 2:38. Some people think that there saved only because they have repeated the sinners prayer, the devil has blinded some people and having them believe that, that is the way, but is really not the way at all.

Ive been there done that. It seems that the closer you get to god the more you get talked about and looked down on. But its only a test to see how strong you are. Thank those who dont want to be your friends because that way you get a closer relationship with god. God will send you true friends just have fatith.

not only is it having the gift of the holy ghost but it is also having a relationship with God. And living the life apart from the world( not doing things of the world). So its really a process that we go thru everyday....Basically we die daily.Be encouraged.
