No, I am not in a choir at this time.  As stated in my prayer request, I am at a crossroad and I know God has Something for me to do on his program. I love to sing and I also love to direct. I sings very high, I think I can almost sing opera.

Yes I sing in the choir. I sing soprano but sometimes I like to do the alto. I have trouble with soprano in the morning (who knows why). I sing in the community choir that we have for an MLK celebration & I recently joined another community choir that's going to do a live recoring in September. I am so looking forward to that because I've never done a live recording. I wish I could play (keyboard) but we each have our own talents. Music just speaks to my heart & I love singing like it's just me & the Lord!!!!!!!!

If you could record it & then post it that would be good. I live in a relatively small town & with school/other responsibilities, if any type of music workshops are held around here, I don't hear about it. I think what you guys are doing with range, teachin about choir, etc. would be interesting.

I sing on five choirs at my church: Sanctuary Choir (Tenor)
Adult Choir (Alto, Tenor when I have to fill-in)
                                               Gospel Choir (Alto)
                                               Combined Choir (Alto/Tenor)
Women's Choir (left up to Minister of Music)
I also help out with The Children's Choir
I help direct & keep attendance for all choirs.
One choir I'm treasurer, two choirs secetary
Two choirs only sing on special occasions, but I sing ever Sunday
I'm unable to work, because of an injury, so I can devote time to sing and work other ministries in the church.

God bless!!!

I think I'm in too many choirs.. lol!!

I am currently in my youth mass choir actually two youth choirs. I am music director of a community choir and I'm working on my own project.

I wish I played but I think singing is enough.

I've been a lazy alto for years, when I lead a song, and the anointment takes over (lol) I can hit some notes that surprise even me. So I got booted...

Let The Light Of The Lord Shine In Me For Others

« Reply #48 on: September 07, 2007, 08:49:29 AM »

In my church we have a different choir for each Sunday.  I am in the Gospel Choir, I serve as president.  I am a soprano and I lead various songs.  I don't remember a time in my life when I wasn't singing something, but singing praises to God is something that I will do until He calls me home and then I'll sing with the Angels when I get there.  A couple of months agao I heard "I Pray we all be ready" by the Chicago Mass Choir.  I pray to bless the church with this song on the 2nd Sunday when our choir sings.  When I heard it, tears began to fall because we as Christians know He is coming back.  No one is exempt from being "called" so please, please "be ready!"
Hi everyone..I am a member of three different choirs..I am on the Womens Ministry Choir. the Gospel Choir and Another choir in my community..I am a 1st soprano and I do solos alot..it used to bother me I had to sing ALL the time cause no one else would lead..that was before I increased my life in Christ..NOW..I sing because I'm happy and free..Thank God!!!

I did the solo on I Pray we All Be Ready..The tears started flowing and the annointing was all over the church..I pray your strength and annointing on this song sis..I also sing Order My steps..Yes God Is Real..and God is Not Dead..I am currently learning a duet with our lead musician "" I Know Who Hold Tomorrow"..this is a very powerful song..I am really excited..Be Blessed All..

Hello all, I am a little late but better late than never...lol  My name is Aric and I am actually the Minister for 2 churches, so I guess you can say I sing in the choir, I am the musician director etc.  I don't have a solo voice but I can hold a note about 95% of the time...lol

I'm in my church youth choir and I sing alto, but I can also sing tenor and some soprano. I don't know if my voice is changing or what. If anyone is or knows a voice specialist contact me.
